_{Another mocking picture of my card for the card battle game I've been working on - Magic Knight, playable on Mobage system, DeNa Japan.
This is a collaboration between me and *KahoOkashii C: I did the innitial concept and basic colors, then he continued coloring, added the flowers and the kois, and I finished off with touching it up. <:

Forgive me for not knowing much about Koi fish... but to me thats the only thing preventing this picture from reaching its full potential. I think they would make a good addition, but where they are now... they look like their flying in the sky... because the mermaid looks like she's kinda coming out of the water and the Koi's are above that line.... but other than that nicely done

Lol ok, Then that makes more sense. I think I'm gonna try for your contest... I don't know if I'll be able to attain the level of quality that you and KahoOkashii have but I've looked at your tutorial and I'm gonna at least try.
